The Boston Red Sox will see yet another spring training debut take place on Saturday.
Sonny Gray, who has been pitching on the backfields but has yet to appear in a game, will make his first Grapefruit League start during an afternoon matchup with the Minnesota Twins at JetBlue Park.
Roman Anthony (United States), Ceddanne Rafaela (Netherlands), Jarren Duran (Mexico), Willson Contreras (Venezuela) and Nate Eaton (Great Britain) return to the lineup as they continue to prepare for the World Baseball Classic, with all five scheduled to depart for the international tournament on Sunday.
Caleb Durbin will make yet another start at third base, which sure seems to be the place in which he’ll get the majority of his starts this season. Trevor Story and Nick Sogard will serve as the double-play combination.
