Red Sox Even Up Road Trip As They Blank Athletics In Opener

Garrett Crochet had a bounce-back performance in the opener between the Red Sox and the Athletics on Monday night, striking out ten batters in 7.0 innings of work.

He was helped by the Red Sox offense, who recorded twelve hits in the 7-0 win. Both Trevor Story and Carlos Narváez hit a home run in the win. The Red Sox are 22-1 when Story hits a home run.
