This week, the NFL Scouting Combine is taking place in Indianapolis, offering NFL teams a fantastic opportunity to interview prospects ahead of the 2026 draft.
Recently, several reporters reached out to players to gather their thoughts on various NFL-related topics. In an interesting move, Fox Sports interviewed 42 prospects to express which NFL head coach they would most like to play for.
It should come as no surprise that New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel garnered the most support, receiving eight votes.
“Recency bias or not, the two big winners were fresh from this year’s Super Bowl. Unlike the result of Super Bowl LX, though, Mike Vrabel came away with the victory in this question,” Greg Auman wrote on Friday. “Eight of the players picked the New England Patriots’ head coach, who also won Coach of the Year for the second time in 2025.”
It’s clear that Vrabel is catching the attention of many players as they approach the NFL, likely due to the success he has achieved in his career with the Tennessee Titans and the Patriots.
