The Los Angeles Kings are on the longest home point streak in team history (11-0-3) after Sunday night’s game against the Boston Bruin. The Bruins are on their second 6-game losing streak after giving up 7 goals in a 7-2 affair.
Morgan Geekie matched his career-high in points (39) with a tying goal early in the second period, but the Bruins were no defensive match for the Kings. Goaltenders Jeremy Swayman and Darcy Kuemper each received 2-minute penalties for leaving the crease in an altercation in the second, after which the Kings scored four unanswered. Quinton Byfield is on a 9-game home point streak, and his eight goals this month are tied for the NHL lead in March.
